The Fire of Mother Earth

Abstract painting with 'Nature' translated into layers of colour, texture and movement

"She burned.

Not quietly, not gently.

Fire ran through her veins, blackened her mountains,
scarred her skin, turned forests into ghosts.

And when the flames were gone, she did not ask to become beautiful again.

She simply remained.

Water found its way between the wounds.
Colour returned where ashes once fell.

Because Mother Earth knows what we sometimes forget,
survival is not the absence of scars.

It is the quiet courage to grow around them."
